    About the role
You’ll own the core finance workflows for Findem’s India entity, including accounts payable, vendor and payroll payments, month-end close, and statutory compliance across GST, TDS and export regulations. You’ll keep the books accurate and filings on time, working closely with our external payroll, GST, audit, tax and banking partners. Finance leaders review all key deliverables before they’re finalized, so you’ll have strong support while you own the work.

    What you’ll do

    Vendor management and accounts payable

    • Review vendor agreements and invoices for accuracy, commercial terms, PO and contract match, and GST and TDS compliance.
    • Work with vendors on queries, missing documents, reconciliations and payment follow-ups.
    • Payments and banking

      • Prepare payment files for vendors, interns, reimbursements and payroll, and share them for review.
      • After approval, upload payments to the bank portal and send them to the Manager for final authorization.
      • Payroll and reimbursements

        • Prepare monthly payroll inputs (new joiners, exits, attendance, variable pay and deductions) and share them for review.
        • Send approved inputs to the payroll vendor and follow up until processing is complete.
        • Do the first-level review of the payroll register and employee reimbursement claims against policy and supporting documents.
        • GST compliance

          • Share monthly data with the GST consultant for return filing.
          • Support the GST annual return (GSTR-9/9C) by providing the data and reconciliations the consultant needs.
          • Export compliance (SOFTEX and EBRC)

            • Provide the details needed to file SOFTEX forms, and send the required documents to the bank to regularize export receipts.
            • Download EBRCs and maintain a tracker of export invoices, SOFTEX and EBRC status.
            • Audit, transfer pricing and direct tax support

              • Support statutory and internal auditors with schedules, reconciliations and supporting documents.
              • Work with consultants on Income Tax Return and Transfer Pricing filings, and provide the data they need.
              • Accounting in NetSuite

                • Post accounting entries in NetSuite (vendor bills, payments, payroll, reimbursements and journal entries) and submit them for review.
                • Keep the books accurate and up to date so month-end close runs on time.
                • Month-end close, reporting and bank reconciliation

                  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for every account, matching statements to the NetSuite GL and clearing reconciling items such as unrecorded receipts or payments, bank charges and timing differences.
                  • Book month-end entries, including expense accruals, prepaid amortization, provisions and depreciation.
                  • Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (vendor payables, employee payables, GST/TDS ledgers and advances) and follow up on open items.
                  • Prepare the month-end report pack (trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, AP ageing and a summary of open items) within the agreed close timeline.
                  • Coordination

                    • Work with external partners (payroll, GST, audit, tax and banks) to make sure deliverables arrive on time.
                    •

What you’ll bring
