Senior Analyst Compliance Process Automation is responsible for building and enhancing reporting and data solutions for regulatory strategy, insurance compliance, and testing teams within compliance. The Analyst needs technical know-how to code and build the queries, automation processes, and reports themselves, as well as drive strategic initiatives and best practices across the department.Essential Functions:- Responsible for project work related to automation opportunities and internal process modernization, with an emphasis on technical process enhancements. This includes developing and writing system specific message files to support processes using Alteryx, robotics, and other tools available.
- Develop new data analytics and reporting tools in areas such as compliance testing and inspections, insurance compliance, and regulatory examinations and engagements.
- Work as needed with internal IT and systems development resources to research process flow issues in compliance and make recommendations for system enhancements.
- Mentor team members to build on their experience and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain procedures and best practices for the organization, including reviewing, recommending, and implementing changes to improve processes and workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years working at a financial firm, ideally in technical/reporting or compliance capacity.
- General familiarity and understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Experience and proficiency working with different financial database technologies for analytical and reporting needs.
- Experience working with and understanding the needs of stakeholders from different areas of the firm (compliance, legal, operations).
- Advanced proficiency with data analytics, automation, and business intelligence tools, including Alteryx, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Power BI.
- Experiencing using artificial intelligence-enabled software, including building custom GPTs, to create efficiencies in processes and workflows.
- Ability and capacity to transition and learn others as needed.
- Coding abilities using SQL, VBA, Python, Power Query, DAX. Ability and capacity to transition and learn others as needed.
