Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing the day by day accounting activities such as processing of journal entries, performing month end tasks, reconciling accounts, etc to ensure we meet the reporting deadlines.
This role also assists with preparing balance sheet reconciliations and reporting on costs, productivity, margins, and expenditures and offer financial recommendations.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate to the month-end reporting process: intercompany reconciliations, run aged customers report with and without VAT, control analytical dimensions, import P&L and BS in the reporting tool.
• Handle payroll postings/intercompany hosting charges and bank postings related to payroll and taxes
• Perform local tax requirements (VAT reporting, income tax accrual calculations)
• Contact for local tax consultants and tax governement
• Administration of the Navision databases: open periods, maintain the set-up of the chart of accounts.
• Monitor reconciliations performed by Genpact team on balance sheet accounts: accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, bonuses,… and perform the reconciliation of the rest of BS accounts handled internally
• Monitor fixed assets accounting related tasks performed by Genpact team: depreciation, write-offs,….
• Assist audit team with internal and external audits
• Support IN audit team in government surveys/local tax reporting as required
• Update Procedures on a regular basis as part of a global service development

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related field.

Required Experience:

• Moderate level of experience gained in similar role preferably within a similar global organization.
• Moderate level of financial accounting experience.
• Moderate level of experience working on financial systems / software.
