Job Description
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and configuring a test automation framework from scratch. This role involves configuring Jenkins servers, copying and re-using scripts, and managing the execution and analysis of automated tests via Jenkins pipelines. The scope of this work may expand into a long-term assignment as part of our budget optimization.
Experience Range: 6-9 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and configure a test automation framework from scratch.
- Configure Jenkins servers and manage Jenkins pipelines for test execution.
- Copy and re-use existing scripts to run on physical devices. .
- Take over the execution and analysis of automated tests via both new and existing Jenkins pipelines.
- Build and configure network components, including Cisco switches, interfaces, VLANs, and traffic management.
- Ensure effective network configuration and connections.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with SVN and GitHub for version control.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium for UI testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Networking knowledge and experience (such as configuring Cisco switches, CCNA routing/switching).
- Mastery of the OSI Model from the IP layer (L3) upwards, especially TCP, UDP, DHCPv4/v6, and DNS.
