Job Title: Automation Test Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience range: 7+ years
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of proven experience in automation testing across multiple projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision and has exposure to investment-based software testing. This role requires expertise in modern testing tools and technologies, particularly within the Atlassian suite, and a strong command of Javascript, Cypress, and Postman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using modern tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement automation testing strategies.
- Maintain and enhance test frameworks, ensuring robust test coverage across various projects.
- Report and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Proficient in Javascript, Cypress, Postman, and Github.
- Hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and Test Management tools (e.g., qTest, Zephyr, X-Ray).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Typescript.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like jMeter.
- Exposure to investment-based software testing.
