Senior C#/.NET Developer – Banking Domain
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C#/.NET Developer with strong experience in the banking and financial services industry to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade applications within banking environments, with a deep understanding of financial systems, integrations, and secure software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Develop and support solutions for banking systems, payment processing, financial transactions, and customer-facing applications.
- Build and maintain APIs, web services, and system integrations with internal and external banking platforms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in application architecture, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system stability and performance.
- Implement security, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Previous experience working within a banking, financial services, fintech, or payment processing environment.
- Strong knowledge of:
- C#
- .NET Core / .NET Framework
- ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- SQL Server
- RESTful APIs
- Object-Oriented Design Principles
- Experience with software integration and enterprise application development.
- Strong understanding of database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of secure coding standards and financial industry compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with banking platforms, payment systems, or financial transaction processing.
- Familiarity with:
- Microservices Architecture
- Azure or AWS
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MSMQ)
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Understanding of:

- ISO 20022
- Cards & Payments
- Core Banking Systems
- AML/KYC Solutions
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
