Job Summary
As a Senior CLOUD QA cum Scrum Master, you will design and create manual and automated test cases, as well as execute functionality testing cycles of applications, collaborating and supporting in the modification and development of quality systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create, maintain, and update test plans and cases
- Create, update, and maintain process documentation for recording test results
- Record and update defects found during test execution in relevant systems
- Track and control defects found during test cycles
- Create SQL queries to verify data stored in the database
- Automated test cases
- Create performance test scripts
- Participate in conferences and team meetings, as well as client meetings, to report project progress
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to analyze complex data warehousing systems and web applications to devise effective test strategies
- Meticulous approach to ensure thorough testing and accurate defect reporting
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Role-specific Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience with cloud technology and agile methodologies
- Experience as SCRUM Master and with Jira Dashboards
- Experience as QA Engineer – acting as QA gateway in a team of Cloud engineers
- Build and maintain systems on Kubernetes and with Helm charts
- Experience using DevOps tools in a cloud environment (e.g.: Docker, Helm charts, Terraform, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Jenkins)
- Experience with a programming or scripting language: Bash, GoLang, Python
- Certification in Azure, AWS or GCP - Experience with SaaS in Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Knowledge about Microservice architectures and concepts (e.g. Services mesh, Chaos testing)
- Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ and/or Postgres
- Experience with Security and Secrets Management (e.g. Hashicorp Vault)
- Experience with Cloud AI services - Experience with Cloud SQL databases
