Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Senior Comp Artist to join our creative team in Mumbai, India. As a Senior Comp Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing visual effects to life, collaborating with other artists to create stunning and seamless composites for film, television, and high-end commercial projects.
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D composites for various visual effects shots
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of all elements
- Develop and implement creative solutions to complex compositing challenges
- Mentor junior artists and provide technical guidance to the team
- Contribute to the development of new compositing techniques and workflows
- Ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and quality standards
- Participate in client reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay up-to-date with the latest compositing tools, techniques, and industry trends
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of compositing software, particularly Nuke and After Effects
- Strong understanding of color theory and color correction techniques
- Proficiency in 3D software such as Maya or Houdini
- Excellent eye for detail and visual aesthetics
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- 5+ years of experience in compositing for film, television, or high-end commercials
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality composites on time
- Bachelor's degree in Visual Effects, Animation, or related field (preferred)
- Solid understanding of cinematography and lighting principles
- Knowledge of current VFX industry trends and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for pushing creative boundaries and exploring innovative solutions
