The Role
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Azure expertise to join our team. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure while mentoring a new junior engineer who will join the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage our Azure-based infrastructure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- Establish robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Lead incident response and troubleshooting
- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements
- Document infrastructure and operational procedures
- Mentor a junior DevOps engineer
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience
- 3+ years working with Azure services (App Service, Functions, Storage, SQL, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates)
- Proficiency in scripting/programming ( Bash, Python or Golang)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of networking concepts and security principles
- Experience with monitoring tools and practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling infrastructure for growing businesses
- Knowledge of compliance and security requirements for cloud services
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, etc.)
