Ericsson is seeking a diligent and versatile DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will support the DevOps architect in automating the solution delivery, aligning this automation with delivery processes and solution design for optimal results in terms of time, cost, and quality. Your day-to-day activities will range from installation and configuration of tools, development of reusable code and frameworks, to conducting system verification tests and managing solution life cycles. Furthermore, you will operate in an Agile environment, potentially acting as an Agile or DevOps coach, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and automation.
What you will do:
• Lead delivery of automation and DevOps implementations in customer networks (4G/5G).
• Collect and analyze OS and application metrics for performance tuning and fault isolation.
• Partner with development teams to improve services via testing and controlled releases.
• Consult on system design, manage platforms, and roll out automation in customer environments.
• Build cloud-native, scalable, robust systems and automation to deploy and manage services at scale.
• Troubleshoot live node incidents and provide primary operational support and lifecycle management.
• Maintain and evolve Service Delivery Global DevOps Platform assets, improving reliability, uptime, and customer satisfaction.
• Balance feature velocity with reliability using clear service-level objectives.
The skills you bring:
• Strong Git, Ansible, Python, Bash, json/yaml, Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 or RHEL 7/8.
• Preferred GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Puppet/Chef, Artifactory, SonarQube, Automation with Python.
• Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and cloud-native architectural principles.
• Expertise in DevOps pipeline orchestration, CI/CD, configuration management, and automation at scale.
• Familiarity with monitoring, security/compliance tooling, and enterprise OS environments.
• Agile/Scrum and DevOps ways of working; project management experience.
• Excellent collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.
