ROLE PROFILE:

As part of our engineering team, you will design, build, and improve backend services using C# and .NET technologies within AWS-based cloud environment. This role focuses on hands-on development, contributing to team design decisions, and taking ownership for delivering reliable, scalable software.

You will work independently while collaborating with peers to improve system performance, reliability, and engineering practices across the team.

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# and .NET expertise to build and support backend systems running on AWS cloud platforms. You will apply your technical knowledge to develop secure, scalable applications, contribute to team decisions, and continuously improve delivery and system reliability.

This role plays an important part in increasing delivery speed, system stability, and shared team knowledge.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Design, develop, and maintain services using C# and .NET
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs
• Develop and support applications in a fully AWS-based environment
• Contribute to event-driven solutions using messaging services
• Use cloud storage and databases for data and file management
• Monitor and improve systems using logging and monitoring tools
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar tools)
• Apply secure coding, testing, and deployment practices
• Take ownership of features and ensure quality, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and support team outcomes

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

Essential skills and experience:

• Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable backend systems, with strong experience in Cloud technologies.
• Strong experience with:
  • C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core)
  • Designing, building and working with APIs
  • Working with Managed Databases (for example, Aurora PostgreSQL or similar relational databases)

• Good understanding of cloud fundamentals, including security, networking, scalability, and high availability

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services, such as:
  • Compute and container platforms (for example, EC2, Lambda, ECS, or Kubernetes-based environments)
  • Storage solutions (for example, S3 or similar)
  • Messaging services (for example, SNS, SQS)
  • Monitoring and logging tools (for example, Cloud Watch)
• Experience working with container-based deployments (for example, Docker)
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as GitLab
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of secure, resilient, and reliable system design principles
• Ability to work effectively in Agile teams
• Clear communication and collaboration skills

Desirable skills (nice to have):

• Exposure to microservices architecture
• Experience improving system observability and monitoring
• Understanding of application performance, scalability, and optimization in distributed systems
