As a Senior Engineer, you serve as a specialist in the engineering team that supports the product. You help develop and gain insight in the application architecture. You can distill an abstract architecture into concrete design and influence the implementation. You show expertize in applying the appropriate software engineering patterns to build robust and scalable systems. You are an expert in programming and apply your skills in developing the product. You have the skills to design and implement the architecture on your own, but choose to influence your fellow engineers by proposing software designs, providing feedback on software designs and/or implementation. You show good problem solving skills and can help the team in triaging operational issues. You leverage your expertise in eliminating repeat occurrences.

We are looking for a talented Front-End Senior Engineer to join our team and lead the development of scalable, modular, and user-friendly web applications. In this role, you'll work with React JS, Micro Front-End Architecture, and Module Federation to create independent, reusable modules that integrate seamlessly into larger applications. You will also collaborate with back-end teams to implement Back-End for Front-End (BFF) architecture, improving communication between front-end and back-end services.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using React JS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ES6.
• Architect and implement Micro Front-End solutions, breaking down monolithic front-end apps into independent, scalable pieces.
• Implement Module Federation to allow multiple front-end applications to share and load code dynamically at runtime.
• Design and implement Back-End for Front-End (BFF) layers to provide tailored APIs for front-end needs.
• Optimize front-end performance, focusing on scalability, speed, and maintainability.
• Write tests using Jest, Cypress, or other modern testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality, accessible web applications.
• Lead efforts to maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline for front-end applications.
• Mentor junior engineers in modern front-end development practices.

Required Skills:

• 4-8 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and ES6.
• Extensive experience with React JS, including advanced patterns like custom hooks, Redux, React Router, and React Context.
• Deep understanding of Micro Front-End Architecture, creating modular, scalable front-end applications.
• Hands-on experience with Module Federation to load shared code and improve performance across multiple front-end applications.
• Experience with Back-End for Front-End (BFF) architecture to create customized APIs for front-end needs.
• Proficiency in front-end build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM.
• Experience writing automated tests with Jest, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and experience in creating WCAG-compliant applications.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and using it to build optimized data-fetching mechanisms.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and microservices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
