Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Details the low-level requirements and supports software design, development and testing to meet the requirements.
- Develops software components to control test and measurement instruments using SCPI or other driver commands.
- Write well-designed, documented and testable code
- Integrate software components into a fully functional software solution.
- Develop, test and execute full software and solution development life cycle
- Design, implement and test features with scalability, performance, deployment/operation and end-user experience in mind
- Performs the test software development and test sequence to test the units under test (UUT) on the test bench solution.
- Ensures the configuration and CI/CD Management during the software development
- Contributes to the Change Management of the software solution.
- Performs unit level, interface level and system level Hardware-Software integration testing
- Participates in the integration activities and verification phases of test benches.
- Contributes in co-engineering activities with the hardware, Systems and IVVQ Engineering team.
- Work within in a Scrum team with other developers, in Agile mode
- Make estimations and give inputs for planning together with the team members
- Collaborate with other engineers to share knowledge and improve overall product/solution

Competencies Required
SW Programming
Strong programming skills – Python and C language.
Also is able to read code in C, understand the algorithm and develop in python language.

COTS T&M instrument drivers:
Have worked with software hardware integration testing with different test and measurement instrument drivers (IVI, VISA, and SCPI)
