JR65841 Senior Engineer - SSD Firmware Test

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics & communication, computer science or closely related field (must be from accredited college or university)

• 3 years of experience developing tests

• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems.

• Strong working knowledge of software development, verification, system failure analysis.

• Proficiency in Python, Procedural and Object-Oriented Programming

• Exposure to SW development practices

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Preferred Skills:

• In depth knowledge and extensive experience with test development

• Expertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environments

• Extensive experience programming in Python

• Experience programming and debugging in C/C++

• Experience in the storage industry in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technology

• Understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SAS

• Experience in SQL and no-SQL databases, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process, communication with Database Admin (DBA)

• Experience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storage

• Ability to work independently with a minimum of day-to-day supervision

• Ability to work in a multi-functional team and under the pressure of multiple priorities
