Our industry-recognized Adobe engineering team is on the lookout for individuals who don't just do AEM work but have a drive to be part of the best! We are currently seeking a Senior AEM Front-End Developer who can lead custom web development for enterprise-level customers. This role will be responsible for taking projects through the entire life cycle. You will tackle problems and resolve complex issues, while working in a distributed environment. A successful team member will be proactive and collaborative!

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
  • Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

Roles and Responsiblities

  • Lead front-end development for mission critical AEM authoring and user experiences.
  • Actively participate in client meetings, professionally and expertly, tailoring communications to fit your audience.
  • Require minimal supervision, provide oversight for assigned projects, and get things done without being micromanaged.
  • Work fast with an attention to detail within a fast-paced work environment with hard deadlines.
  • Own the front-end build system and development processes.
  • Build reusable components with HTL/Sightly, CSS/LESS and JavaScript.
  • Write well designed, efficient code that works across devices.
  • Adhere to and promote inclusive design best practices up to and beyond meeting WCAG standards.
  • Translate business needs into technical front-end requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback in code reviews and help others to become better developers.
  • Support continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with the rapidly evolving front-end world.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/MS degree, bootcamp graduate, or equivalent self-education
  • 7+ years of professional hands-on front-end development experience
  • Built sites using AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5; experience in other CMS systems such as Drupal may be considered
  • Proficiency with AEM Components, Dialogs, Templates, Clientlibs and Fragments
  • An understanding of design and the ability to fill gaps if a design doesn’t cover all screen sizes or isn’t consistent
  • Experience with the latest front-end tools and technologies, such as Webpack, ES6 JavaScript, TypeScript and Storybook.js
  • Experience with localhost AEM development and builds using Apache Maven
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and consulting skills
  • Worked with Agile development, preferably SCRUM
