About the Team
The primary role of Engineering function within Product Development team is to create specifications and designs for new products or improvements and enhancements to existing products. Works closely with customers, developers and other stakeholders to understand and define customer needs.
Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Work as a Senior developer and write software code for a new web application from scratch.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers on the team.

Participate in architectural, design, and code reviews providing insight to other engineers and their solutions.

Leverage known design patterns to design new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces for ResMed family of products.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues leveraging software algorithm design best practices.
-
Leverage known secure programming principles to design new software solutions, services, components, and interfaces that meet industry and government standards for security and data protection.

Debug existing code to fix defects in software.

Write software tests and unit tests to validate software solutions leveraging test-driven development techniques.

Build and deploy software packages using Continuous Integration and Continuous Development best practices for delivering software as a service.
Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience
Required Skills
-
Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or relevant streams.

7+ years' experience as a software engineer building web applications
-
Experience working on scalable applications
-
Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture
-
Experience in contributing to application architecture & design
-
Experience in developing backend Rest API / Microservices in Java
-
Experience in developing web applications using ReactJs, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Preferred Skills
-
Experience in cloud-based platforms like AWS or Azure.

Experience with CI /CD pipeline creation and deployments.

Experience in the healthcare industry
Experience with any RDBS database or NoSQL DB -
Knowledge and interest to work on automation using latest Test Frameworks

Messaging Systems, Rabbit MQ.
