Own day-to-day people operations for the India team, including attendance, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, employee lifecycle administration, employee relations, engagement, welfare, HR policies, POSH coordination, records, and vendor management. The role supports shift-based employees and requires hands-on execution, strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, and accurate HRMS and payroll administration.
About 100ms
100ms is building AI agents that automate complex patient access workflows in U.S. healthcare — starting with benefits verification, prior authorisation, and referral intake in specialty pharmacy.
We help care teams reduce delays and administrative burden so that patients can start treatment faster. Our automation platform combines deep healthcare knowledge with LLM-based agents and robust ops infrastructure.
THE ROLE
As our HR Executive, you will run day-to-day people operations for the India team. This is a hands-on role. You will own attendance, payroll inputs, compliance and the employee lifecycle yourself, and you will be the first point of contact for employees on HR matters. We are looking for someone who is precise with process, calm and clear with people, and comfortable in a fast-growing company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Attendance & Payroll: Manage daily attendance through the HRMS, process shift allowances and overtime, and prepare accurate monthly payroll inputs, including joiners, exits, and full-and-final settlements.
- Statutory Compliance: Manage PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and gratuity requirements; maintain Karnataka Shops & Establishments registers and filings; and ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable Labour Codes.
- Employee Lifecycle: Own the employee lifecycle from offer letters and background verification through onboarding, induction, HR documentation, and exit formalities.
- Employee Relations: Respond to employee queries and grievances promptly, and handle attendance, performance, and conduct-related matters fairly and confidentially.
- Employee Welfare & Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement and welfare initiatives, including support for night-shift teams covering transportation, safety, and wellbeing.
- HR Policies & POSH: Draft, update, and implement HR policies covering leave, maternity, attendance, shifts, conduct, grievances, and exits. Support POSH compliance and coordinate with the Internal Committee.
- HR Records & Vendor Management: Maintain accurate employee records and HRMS data, and coordinate with payroll, insurance, facilities, and other HR service providers.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations or a similar HR Generalist role.
- Experience managing attendance and payroll inputs for a sizeable workforce, including shifts, overtime, joiners, exits, and full-and-final settlements.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance, including Labour Codes, maternity benefits, POSH, gratuity, and the Karnataka Shops & Establishments Act.
- Hands-on experience with an HRMS such as Keka, greytHR, or Zoho People, along with strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. Kannada or Hindi is a plus.
- High ownership and strong attention to detail, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to execute rather than delegate.
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s in HR, such as MBA/PGDM/MSW in HR or Labour Welfare, is preferred.
WHY JOIN US
- Own People Operations end-to-end for a growing team, with direct visibility and access to leadership.
- Shape HR processes, policies, and programs as the company scales and evolves.
- Work at a company applying AI to solve real-world problems in US healthcare.
- Take on a high-ownership, hands-on role where your work directly impacts employees and the organization.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience working at a fast-growing startup, ideally through a period of rapid scaling.
- Experience supporting shift-based or operations-heavy teams, including night-shift, field, or frontline employees.
