Short Summary:

To effectively guide & support our explosive growth, the Human Resource Generalist will perform a wide range of duties in all areas of Human Resources. This position reports to the Manager of Payroll and Benefits in El Segundo, CA for functional leadership and locally, to the Director of Human Resources in our Bengaluru office.

What will you Do

  • Serves as a front-line resource for employees for questions regarding various procedures and policies.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Provide exemplary customer services to employees at all levels, HR and other stakeholders.
  • Execute all onboarding and offboarding of employees and contractors.
  • Responsible for full- cycle payroll processing in the payroll system for India, APAC region, and working with global accounting/payroll firms.
  • Review, analyze and verify payroll reports and documents for accuracy; make necessary adjustments or corrections to employee records prior to completion of payroll.
  • Manages leaves and disabilities.
  • Counsels employees on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed benefits decisions. Review benefits eligibility such as coupons and ensure distribution as needed
  • Create and maintain confidential personnel folders online. Ensure all new hire paperwork, including the new hire background check is received and compliant.
  • Responds to information requests including: Internal audits, employment verification, manager report requests, unemployment claims.
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics such as employee turnover rates.
  • Assist with the any pension related filings and queries
  • Maintain and update human resource data in Namely such as title, compensation, and manager reporting relationships - following strict naming conventions - and taking opportunities to make processes more efficient when possible
  • Assist with employee performance evaluations and ensure they are done in a timely manner.
  • Provides clerical and operational support to the Director of Human Resources.
