Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the company’s networks and servers, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Upgrade, install, and configure hardware and software in alignment with Plum’s goals.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, firewalls, VPNs, GSuite administration, and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of devices, including procurement, provisioning, deployment, management, and de-provisioning.
  • Implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard company data and prevent potential threats.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring secure and streamlined employee onboarding and off-boarding.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and perform troubleshooting to optimise system performance.
  • Document IT processes and maintain proper backup and data archiving practices.
  • Lead data retrieval and recovery efforts to ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and manage feedback and error reporting systems for internal users.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Track IT infrastructure costs and manage the tools used across the organisation, driving efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco) are a strong advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience working with IT systems, networks, and technologies, with a strong focus on security.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
