Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Technical Infrastructure (Senior Cloud Engineer )to join the Enterprise Cloud Adoption team within the Caterpillar IT Division as we expand our team to support AI and Machine Learning workloads.
The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India
What you will do
Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Deploy cloud technologies based on requirements gathered from business partners
• Perform implementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complex in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions without close supervision
• Assist business partners with documentation, training and usability efforts
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and/or application connectivity issues across a complex global network
• Enhance and adhere to architectural designs, processes and procedures
• Manage and plan your deliverables using the Agile methodology
• Provide high-level consulting to teams utilizing the sandbox environments, ensuring velocity in proof-of-concept activities
• Ensure operational activities are completed within the required OLAs/SLAs.
• Collaborate with Caterpillar IT teams to enable foundational functionality as defined in the service enablement process

What you will have

• 5+ years in infrastructure operations or applications development, with special emphasis in areas of AI and machine learning
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related Information Technology degree
• Industry certification, with Solution Architect, AI or Machine Learning focus preferred
• Experience using the Agile methodology
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, specifically Azure DevOps or GitHub
• Experience with technical leadership or lead developer role with practical experience in cloud computing, architecture work, systems or application design, and development
• Strong verbal and written communication (English), teamwork, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills

Level Working Knowledge: • Assesses the current technology environment, expressed needs and initiatives of client organizations. • Uses an effective consulting method to present technology solutions that resolve stated client business issues. • Advises clients regarding a family of specific products, technologies or services in a technology domain. • Demonstrates basic competence and sound business knowledge regarding specific products, technologies or services within a domain of technology expertise. • Achieves consulting relationship rating of 'professional' by delivering timely, meaningful advice meeting client needs in a narrow set of specific technologies.
Hardware Infrastructure : Knowledge of computer architecture and systems programming; ability to design, build and integrate IT hardware into multi-platforms for the organization.
Level Extensive Experience: • Evaluates IT hardware vendors in the market and selects the most suitable products for the organization. • Guides employees on the integration of IT hardware throughout other organization-wide platforms. • Supervises the implementation process of IT hardware ensuring consistency in productivity and overall effectiveness. • Advises others on business standards and practices for IT hardware in order to meet designer requirements. • Evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of an organization's hardware components. • Diagnoses IT hardware problems and recommends dynamic solutions.
