Senior Java Azure Backend Developer

Mandatory Skills:

4 - 8 years of working experience as a Software Engineer

Several years of programming experience in:

·       Strong programming skills in at least two of the following languages: Node.js, Java, Python.

·        Proven experience migrating applications from one cloud platform to another (AWS to Azure experience is a significant plus).

·        Deep understanding of Azure IaaS and PaaS services and their application in developing and deploying applications.

·        Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.

·        Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·        Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM Templates) is a plus.

·       Agile MindsetTeam Player- Willingness to take on responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Development and operations of the existing system landscape as well as ensuring maintainability, reliability, and scalability.

• Cloud Migration: Lead and execute the migration of applications from AWS to Azure, focusing on a smooth and efficient transition with minimal downtime. This includes analyzing source architecture, source code, and AWS service dependencies.

•  Azure Application Development & Deployment: Develop and deploy applications on the Azure platform, utilizing IaaS and PaaS services as appropriate.  This involves designing, implementing, and testing robust and scalable solutions.

•  Code Remediation & Refactoring: Analyze existing codebases (Node.js, Java, Python) to identify areas for improvement, refactor code for better performance and maintainability, and implement necessary changes for successful Azure deployment.

•  Azure Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. This includes configuring and managing virtual machines, networks, storage, and other related services.

•  Azure Service Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a wide range of Azure services including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure DevOps, and Azure Active Directory.

•  Automation:  Develop and implement automation scripts (e.g., using PowerShell, Azure CLI) to streamline deployment processes and infrastructure management.

•  Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployments and Azure infrastructure. Provide technical support to other teams as needed.

•  Documentation:  Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of all aspects of the migration and development processes.Mandatory certification (if Any):
