Senior Java Developer (Microservices and Cloud Computing)

Overall Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Java developers and ensure high-quality software delivery
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and systems
• Design and implement scalable and efficient Java solutions to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Java and related technologies

Technical Skills:

Java Development:

• Extensive knowledge of Java programming and related technologies
• Experience in developing Java-based applications and systems
• Familiarity with microservices architecture

Software Development Methodologies:

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and other software development methodologies

Cloud Computing:

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services

Problem-Solving:

• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Experience:

• Total & Relevant: 7+ years of experience in software development with Java
• Proven experience in leading a team of developers

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
• Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and systems
• Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive innovation
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Java and related technologies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Any Graduate or Postgraduate
