Job Description

The Senior Manager, Data Analysis for Walmart's Pharmacy Team will lead a team of data analysts to drive insights and strategy to enhance the pharmacy operations. This role requires a deep understanding of data science, analytics, and the healthcare industry, particularly pharmacy operations.

What You Will Bring

  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Data Strategy: Develop and implement data analysis strategies to support pharmacy operations, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.
  • Analytics and Insights: Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including pharmacy operations, marketing, to align data initiatives with business objectives.
  • Reporting: Create and present detailed reports and dashboards to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains within pharmacy operations through data-driven insights.
  • Compliance: Ensure all data practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations and data privacy laws.

What You Will Do

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in the healthcare or pharmacy industry is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, R, Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA and HITECH, and experience working with sensitive healthcare data - Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to independently analyze complex data sets
