Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineering Manager, the person will be reporting into Director of Engineering and own development and delivery of security solutions.
Work directly with senior management, peers and architects to develop practices which lead to the highest quality products and drive transformation change.
About the role:
● The individual should have experience in the definition, design,
implementation, development of products in the cloud and private data
center preferably in the cybersecurity domain.
● Act as a technical mentor for the team regarding security, performance,
deployment, troubleshooting, and effective testing of the full interaction of
the cloud components with our platform.
● Deliver solutions that meet the timeline, quality and costs for the projects and
deliverable elements.
● Posses exceptional leadership, communication and project management
skills with multiple years of technical management experience.
About you:
● The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or
related field.
● 12+ years of related software engineering background with at least 4+ years
spent in management capacity.
● Managed design and development of large scale Java web applications.
● Knowledge of Java, C++ coding and debugging skills and operating system
fundamentals.
● Cloud Stack experience in any one of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP are
preferred.
● Experience with technology infrastructure, storage, and virtualization.
● Strong business acumen and agility within a large, matrixed organization.
● Collaborate with other teams to define requirements and determine effective
ways to get the job done and manage interdependencies.
● Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor a
strong team of software engineers.
● Provide direct, honest, and constructive developmental feedback to achieve
high performance and career growth.
● Motivate, oversee, coach and grow the scrum teams as appropriate.
● Ability to collaborate and work with multiple teams across different
time zones.
● Good listener with strong communication skills.
