Role Summary:

This position is responsible to providing functional leadership to the team besides partnering with global COEs to ensure GBS strategy, operations and deliverables are consistent with global process, technology, policies in delivering positive employee experiences.

This position will lead and be accountable for the successful delivery of HR operational processes across various geographies. This role will focus on continuous process improvement and expanding the scope of services delivered, while maintaining process KPIs and SLAs. Partnering with Regional HR and other functional teams, will facilitate, support, and execute organizational procedures and participate in transformational initiatives as needed.

HR Operations & Process Management:

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all areas.
  • Continuously review and improve HR policies, processes, and systems, overseeing HRIS management, record-keeping, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.), ensuring alignment with business needs and legal requirements.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations by implementing compliance frameworks across geographies (if applicable) and conducting regular audits to mitigate potential risks.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for audits and external inquiries, addressing HR compliance issues and ensuring the organization meets legal and regulatory standards.

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR operations team to achieve operational excellence, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and IT, to support organizational goals.
  • Build strong relationships with business leaders to understand and address HR operational needs effectively, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Employee Experience & Engagement:

  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for employees, while supporting employee engagement initiatives by driving data-backed insights into workforce needs.
  • Act as a point of escalation for employee queries, addressing and resolving issues promptly to maintain a positive work environment.

 Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop and deliver regular HR reports and dashboards on key metrics, including headcount, attrition, payroll costs, and compliance.
  • Utilize data insights to recommend improvements to HR processes and policies.

  Process Improvement & New Initiative Setup

  • Lead the development and implementation of new HR systems, processes, and policies that drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and enhanced employee experience.
  • Work with other HR leaders to set up and launch new initiatives related to employee benefits, payroll systems, and HR technology as Alphawave Semiconductor expands globally.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Human Resources, Organization Development, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of progressive experience in a global and matrixed environment, providing guidance and influence on leaders.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams in an HR shared service environment that offers a wide range of services across the full employee lifecycle.
  • A track record of reliable delivery and continuous improvement in a shared service environment.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance, administration, generalist activities, and management information (MI) reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Data Protection legislation and experience managing data requests.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Ability to influence leaders and build relationships across the organization.
    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with HR Management systems like Workday is a plus.
  • Flexibility to support a diverse, international set of stakeholders and willingness to be flexible with office timings
