Senior Network Engineer-Enterprise Office Network (EON) Design & Engineer

Senior Network Design Engineer - The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise network environments and wireless solutions. This role demands deep expertise in Routing & Switching, Wireless Networking, SD-WAN, Cisco Catalyst platforms, FortiGate Firewalls, Juniper EX SRX MX platforms, ASR1K, DMVPN.Key

- Expert-level knowledge of Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and Switching technologies (STP, VLANs, EtherChannel etc).

- Expertise in designing and managing Cisco Catalyst Wireless Solutions.

- Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst and Juniper networking platforms.

- Understanding of Zscaler solutions (ZPA / ZIA)

- Good understanding of DNS/DHCP/IPAM.

- Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls and Juniper SRX Firewalls.

- Proven expertise in DMVPN configuration and troubleshooting.

- Good understanding of WAN architecture and technologies.

- Solid understanding of SD-WAN architectures and deployment strategies.

- Exposure to network automation frameworks and tools like Git, NETCONF, Ansible/Terraform, Python etc.

- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and Telemetry (SNMP, NetFlow etc).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and maintain Enterprise Office Network infrastructure across multiple sites.

- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst and Juniper EX platforms routing and switching platforms.

- Design, Implement and Manage / optimize Cisco wireless networks.

- Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions.

- Administer and secure FortiGate / Juniper SRX Firewalls including policy creation, VPN setup, and threat management.

- Design and support DMVPN topologies and S2S VPN for secure site-to-site connectivity.

- Perform network performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery.

- Participate in automation discussions and workstreams for the enterprise office network.

- Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

- Participate in on call rotation and provide Tier 4 / engineering support for escalated issues.
