SailPoint is seeking Senior Performance Engineers with solid understanding of JavaScript and and a desire to learn about cloud-native technologies, and who are passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable, observable microservices for enterprise-grade, multi-tenant SaaS products.

Responsibilities:

• Learn Identity Governance concepts and SailPoint products

• Setup data in the Performance lab to emulate SailPoint customers data volume and shape

• Create scripts which communicate with microservice APIs

• Write performance test plans, analyze, conduct test, identify performance bottleneck and extract best practices from lessons learned.

• Conduct stress testing of software and infrastructure.

• Publish and communicate the results of performance tests, scalability assessments, and recommendations.

Requirements :

• 5+ years of professional performance testing and profiling experience

• Experience with an object-oriented programming language and techniques

• Understanding of Java Frameworks

• Experience and fluidity with JavaScript

• Experience with SQL queries

• Familiarity with MacOS as this will be your development platform

• The desire to learn Performance testing concepts and tools like Grafana K6, Prometheus, and Apache JMeter

• Great communication skills

Preferred:

• Basic knowledge of UNIX commands and file structure

• Experience with AWS

• Experience working with SaaS applications

• Experience with observability tools like Jaeger, Prometheus, or Grafana K6

What success looks like in the role:

In the first 30 days you will:

• Meet team, understand the team’s mission and vision

• Have executed test work, both supervised and unsupervised.

By your first anniversary, you should be able to:

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of the product and architecture

• Exercise independence and autonomy in managing their roles and responsibilities

• Accomplish projects on your own with limited guidance
