About the role

We are looking for expert knowledge to deliver a number of use cases across Corporate finance within Finance Systems . As we look at implementing our future deliverables for Corporate Finance this Product Expert Role is to help deliver Financial Consolidation changes to Finance Systems Portfolio. We seek a team of experienced and talented individuals to help shape the future of the Enterprise Applications and deliver its strategy.

The position is part of Haleon’s CTO organization within our Enterprise Applications function and reports into respective Director in Finance Systems.

The Product Expert Role is an Individual Contributor (IC) and has expertise of in-depth technical knowledge of SAP Financial Consolidation a product suite of SAP BOFC within the processes in Finance Planning & Consolidation for Healthcare or Consumer Goods industries.

Role Responsibilities

• Experience in developing, configuring and deploying complex SAP FC problem statements, including solution build, configuration, testing and delivery to meet business requirements.

• Works with ever demanding business within Corporate Finance and deliver SAP changes for Finance Consolidation

• Contributes to their team or domain meeting goals through successfully leading and consistently delivering on projects of highly ambiguous scope, high complexity, and critical business impact

• Impact assesses any cross-product initiatives and build relationships within CTO to help manage the demand.

Basic Qualifications:

• 7+years of proficiency in SAP BFC, including application design, development, and maintenance within the BFC framework (Actuals, Plan, Forecast, CAPEX, Statutory)

• In depth knowledge of financial consolidation processes, methodologies, and best practices, with an understanding of financial reporting and statutory requirements.

• Experience in integrating data from diverse sources into SAP BFC and understanding of integrating SAP FC with other financial systems including SAP BW and ECC

• Strong programming skills in SQL is a must

• Ability to configure and customize SAP BFC according to specific consolidation requirements, including dimension management, data validation checks, formulas, and business rules.

• Proficiency in developing financial reports and data collection schedules in SAP BFC

• Must have FIM and Cube Designer knowledge

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, finance teams, and other IT professionals involved in the consolidation process.

•  Be able to articulate proposed solutions clearly to non-technical people.

• Ability to work on tight deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills. Capable of working effectively in large, complex cross functional teams, capable of building relationships across different stakeholders and functional groups 

• Solution oriented and problem solving 

• Dynamic, flexible, team player and result driven 

• Flexibility to work across different time-zones

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience on SAP BO FC , FIM , Cube designer and BW

• Experience in working with Agile, Scrum, Kanban and waterfall delivery models 

• Experience in Corporate consolidation is a must

• Experience in a Pharmaceutical or FMCG commercial and manufacturing environment

• Experience in a regulated environment is a plus

• Prior experience with emerging technologies including ML, AI, IoT and Blockchain is a plus

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager

Certification in SAP Financials, S/4 HANA is a plus
