Walmart’s People Product and Design organization is focused on transforming the associate experience for our 2.1M associates across diverse segments, geographies, and demographics through consumer-grade AI-driven digital experiences. Our mission is to activate Walmart’s people-led and tech-powered strategy by building people experiences that serve associates across Walmart US, Sam’s Club, Walmart International and Campus. As a Senior Product Manager in the People Product organization, you will have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life, work on 0->1 products and make a lasting impact on the associate experience. Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for product marketing standards, strategy, and execution for the People Product and Design Organization. 

  • Email and In-App Marketing: Lead marketing initiatives across various platforms, including email and in-app marketing for our experience layers: Me@Campus, Me@SamsClub, and My Assistant. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams (including product, design, and sales) to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with product capabilities and business objectives. 

  • Market Analysis and Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies. 

  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions. 

 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5 years of previous experience as a Product Manager in consumer facing growth-oriented roles 

  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue impact through increased product adoption, engagement and retention 

  • Proven ability to prioritize using a combination of data, user insights and product intuition, connecting the strategy to user needs, features and metrics in a logical narrative. 

  • Data-driven decision-making skills 

  • Customer obsession and the ability to develop solutions that delight them 

  • Self-starter with a strong attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity 

  • Comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions 

  • Experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences 

  • Experience in process design  

  • Comfortable with engaging with various stakeholders of varying levels across multiple domains 

  • Organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity 

  • Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
