Senior Product Manager

Position Summary...Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

US Omni Tech at Walmart Global Tech, Bengaluru, is focused on improving Walmart customer experience across both physical & digital and make Walmart the most exciting place to shop. With 4000+ brick and mortar stores and thousands of other suppliers fulfilling Walmart's online/in-store orders for over 1 billion customers - the challenge and complexity is pronounced! We work within the world’s largest retailer yet maintain a startup feel working in small agile teams to revolutionize the fulfilment landscape. As a leader in the supply chain group, you are accountable and responsible for number of critical products/platforms that helps serve our customers in the most cost-effective manner in multiple geographies and businesses.What you'll do:

• You will be responsible to realize the vision of building a trusted online shopping experience for customers and sellers while preventing any financial and reputational losses.
• This role would encompass product interventions that would enable seamless vetting of third-party sellers across markets and entities interested in onboarding on Walmart Marketplace and subscribing to Walmart services with minimal cost of operations.
• You would champion the vision with diverse set of stakeholders across businesses and functions to drive influence and alignment.
• You will work with stakeholders across geographies giving you a truly diverse experience. While you would be working for the biggest retailer of the world, the experience would be very much like that of start-up working in small agile teams.

What you'll bring:

• You come with 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience with eCommerce or internet-based products or support services is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Uncompromising commitment to the customer.
• Ability to drive teams toward a shared vision with velocity and possess an indomitable bias toward action in the face of ambiguity. 
• Willingness to be bold – be undeterred by organizational obstacles and with a High tolerance for risk / low fear of failure. 
• Strong presentation and influencing skills and the ability to interact with executive level business and technical partners. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to champion product solutions throughout the organization. 
• Advanced/ master’s degree in engineering or management is preferred.
