About the Role
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in test automation and fintech systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of mission-critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and API applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Validate data accuracy, transaction flows, and business rules in financial systems
- Execute API testing and backend validation
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and fintech regulations
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Strong experience in test automation (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Experience testing fintech applications (banking, payments, trading, lending, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter)
- Knowledge of security testing and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to microservices architecture
