Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-scale, high-availability environments and has a passion for automation, observability, and cloud-native tooling. You will help ensure our systems are fast, reliable, and scalable—supporting a modern infrastructure stack powered by Terraform, Saltstack, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
What you will do
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Saltstack.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment processes and rollback strategies.
- Build and maintain containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using New Relic, Splunk, and other observability tools.
- Administer and support virtual infrastructure environments using VMware.
- Collaborate with development, security, and QA teams to improve reliability, automation, and performance.
- Contribute to SRE practices including incident response, blameless postmortems, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and scale infrastructure across both AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
What you will have
- 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Saltstack.
- Proficient with container technologies including Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Proven experience managing infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Expertise in observability tools like Splunk and New Relic.
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Go).
- Experience with VMware and virtualized infrastructure.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting both Linux and Windows server environments.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, especially GitHub.
Nice to have
- Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for key management and encryption.
- Experience with service mesh, secrets management, and zero-downtime deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with incident management frameworks (e.g., PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
- Background in security and compliance in cloud environments.
