We are seeking a data-driven and strategic social media analyst to join our marketing team. You will play a pivotal role in driving our social media success through comprehensive listening, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights. This role will sit in Bangalore, India, and report directly to the Senior Marketing Content & Social Manager.

Responsibilities

Social Media Listening & Monitoring

  • Develop and implement a robust social media listening strategy using advanced monitoring tools.
  • Track brand mentions, sentiment analysis, and key industry conversations across relevant platforms.
  • Identify emerging trends, influencers, and potential opportunities for engagement.
  • Prepare insightful reports and presentations to inform social media strategy and campaigns.

Competitive Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct in-depth competitor social media presence analysis, including content strategy, engagement metrics, and audience demographics.
  • Benchmark our performance against key competitors and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and present competitive reports to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive campaign optimization and strategy.
  • Develop and present clear, concise, visually appealing reports to inform stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing team on social media initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and address potential social media risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in social media reporting and analytics.
  • Proven experience with social media listening and monitoring tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Meltwater).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on data storytelling.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with competitive analysis methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.
