We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Software Quality team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our software products. As a Senior SDET, you will collaborate with software engineers, other SDET’s, and product managers to design and implement automated testing frameworks, develop test strategies, and drive best practices for testing. You will be responsible for enhancing our testing infrastructure and ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality before deployment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for API and performance testing.
  • Develop and execute automated and manual test cases, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues.
  • Implement and enforce test automation best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Optimize test automation scripts for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve test environments and deployment processes.
  • Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in languages such as Python, Javascript, Typescript and GraphQL
  • 5-7  years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging
  • 5-7 years of experience with software architecture, development, and release management
  • 5-7 years of test framework (Pytest) experience
  • 7+ years of agile development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of individuals
  • Have a positive attitude and be proactive in fulfilling your job responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of API testing tools such as Postman
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrations with testing frameworks (Github Actions)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Understanding of Internet security best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus
  • Experience with testing hardware and software together
  • Experience with Load/Performance testing (K6)
