Role Overview:

Trellix is seeking talented and dynamic software engineers to join our NDR Product Development Team. Our team focuses on creating innovative, scalable, and high-performance solutions to tackle complex network detection and response challenges in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
We're looking for candidates with strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and hands-on experience in application development using C with Rust (Not mandatory) developing and debugging device drivers or working with low-level hardware interface, Understanding of Linux internals (Not mandatory). The ideal candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of cutting-edge technologies as part of a distributed engineering group, driving the future of Trellix NDR

About the role :

·       Actively contribute in all phases of development from design to post-deployment issue resolution 

·       Work with other team members and with security consultants to refine requirements and implement design decisions 

·       Share ownership of significant areas of code for both new and existing features and functionality 

·       Contribute to code reviews of team projects 

·       Help diagnose and resolve field-reported issues 

 

About You :

  • ·Proficiency in C and/or Rust with a focus on system level development 

  • Experience working with TCP/IP protocol suite 

  • Experience with concurrent programming using standard libraries 

  • Experience developing and debugging device drivers or working with low-level hardware interfaces

  • Knowledge of Network Security

  • Knowledge of data structures and their implementation details 

  • Understanding of Linux internals, including kernel architecture and file systems

  • Knowledge of transport layer security and  authentication methods

  • Understanding of version control systems such as git and/or subversion 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to effectively work in a cooperative, distributed team environment 

    • 10+ years of relevant experience 

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience 

  • Experience with cloud deployments is a plus 

  • Experience with RAID and/or SAN storage is a plus
