In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems powering our [product/service]. You will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and performant solutions in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable and resilient backend services using Golang.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform on AWS.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, technical design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge bases.
- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in web service development with Golang/Python working with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, ECS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Proven experience shipping at least two projects through the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from design to production and maintenance.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and effective communication and collaboration skills across time zones.
