As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You'll be expected to take ownership of significant features, mentor junior team members, and drive technical excellence within your team. This position requires a strong technical foundation, a problem-solving mindset, and excellent collaboration skills.
What you’ll do- Take full ownership of projects from design to implementation, test, deployment, and ongoing operations.
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, highly available cloud-native services for data protection and recovery.
- Build and operationalize protection for Kubernetes, SaaS applications, and public cloud workloads.
- Implement cloud-scale APIs and microservices leveraging native cloud services (storage, IAM, networking).
- Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud-native protection systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver impactful features.
- Diagnose and resolve complex problems in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and cloud-native design patterns.
- 6+ years of experience in building scalable enterprise or cloud software.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and native services.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST/gRPC APIs.
- Strong interest in solving complex technical challenges in cloud-native and data protection domains.
- Experience with storage, backup/recovery, or security solutions is a plus.
