Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in ReactJS for front-end

development and backend experience in either Node.js or Java (J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices). This

role will support, maintain, and enhance our digital products and services while contributing to new

development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ReactJS, capable of building scalable

and maintainable front-end applications, and experienced in either Node.js or Java for backend

development.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

· Develop, maintain, and optimize ReactJS front-end applications, ensuring high performance and

responsiveness.

· Implement and enhance modern UI/UX features to improve user experience.

· Develop and maintain backend services using either Node.js or Java (J2EE, Spring Boot

Microservices), including API development and database integration.

· Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system stability and reliability.

· Maintain and enhance existing applications by addressing technical debt, optimizing

performance, and implementing necessary updates.

· Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design scalable, efficient, and maintainable

solutions.

· Operate with a continuous improvement mindset, conducting code and design reviews, and

leveraging modern development tools to improve quality and productivity.

· Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to support system reliability.

· Ensure seamless collaboration between development and support efforts within an Agile

environment.

· Advocate for technology upgrades to keep infrastructure robust and scalable.

· Communicate technical updates, issues, and solutions across teams.

· Participate in mentorship and proactive learning to enhance both functional and technical

expertise.

Required Job Skills and Abilities:

1. Expertise in ReactJS for front-end development, state management, and component-based architecture. 2. Experience in backend development using either Node.js or Java (J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices). 3. Strong understanding of modern front-end frameworks, UI performance optimization, and best practices. 4. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in React applications and production environments. 5. Solid understanding of software development and support best practices, Agile methodologies, and Scrum workflows. 6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts. Nice to have: 1. Experience with Java (J2EE, Spring Boot Microservices) for backend development. 2. Experience with Node.js 3. Experience with PHP in a LAMP stack environment. 4. Experience in AWS cloud-hosted environments. 5. Background in the EdTech industry. Required Education and Experience: 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred). 2. 7+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a primary focus on ReactJS and backend experience in either Node.js or Java.
