What we’re looking for
The Billing and Payments team is a multinational engineering team that creates and maintains the software platform for SurveyMonkey’s global payments and billing systems. Our primary focus is ensuring our customers enjoy a secure checkout experience. This year, we are expanding the team to work on an exciting new integration with Stripe that will enhance the experience for our customers.
Billing and Payments Engineering is looking to partner with a talented Quality Assurance professional to help plan upcoming development work, manually test new features, file tickets for bugs, test bug fixes, test releases to production, come up with test plans and automate test cases. We need a self-starter who can hit the ground running, startup experience is a plus.
What you’ll be working on
- Test features end-to-end.
- Understand requirements and develop a test plan specific to the feature.
- Write E2E test plan for the large feature development.
- Manage your time well and prioritize test cases without compromising quality and/or end-user experience.
- Work on more than one project at a time.
- Test and verify the changes on staging before they are released to production.
- Work with multiple stakeholders from product and engineering to ensure User Experience isn't compromised.
- Work with the engineering development team and automate test cases into the existing testing framework.
We’d love to hear from people with
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance domain with proficiency in manual and automation testing
- Experience testing and releasing web applications to production
- Experience gathering feature requirements, defining test plans, and filing bugs
- Experience testing REST APIs
- Ability to manually test across browsers and use the developer consoles to provide logs, (Chrome, Safari, IE, etc.)
- Experience writing automation test cases using frameworks such as pytest, WebdriverIO
- Experience with Git or another VCS
- Write automation test suites in Javascript
Bonus Qualifications
- Any experience on web automation software tools
- Any work on ecommerce / payment experience
- Familiarity with A/B testing

As such, this opportunity is hybrid and requires you to work from the SurveyMonkey office in Bengaluru 3 days per week.
