Senior Software Engineer
Why Lytx:
As Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work with industry leading Lytx Safety Software, which manages massive amounts of video and data collected from over 700,000 vehicles worldwide and ensures the best possible outcomes by identifying behaviors and events that impact safety. Be responsible for building solutions that collect, organize, and present information for tracking the safety and efficiency of commercial transportation drivers and fleets. Lead projects, establish engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate across Agile teams. Using Video Telematics, Machine Vision, and AI to derive intelligent insights for all devices and vehicles on our network, you’ll help accelerate our software. Doesn’t that sound exciting?
You’ll Get To:

Participation in software development sprint planning sessions

Participate in requirements and documentation reviews to determine and implement the appropriate test strategies

Review/Write test cases that ensure the correct level of test coverage for an application

Execute/evaluate usability tests cases

Execute functional and integration test cases
-
Identify and raise risks in the system development life cycle

Communicate and coordinate with Product Management, QA, Release and Development teams
-
Perform other duties as assigned
What You’ll Need:
-
6+ years of Software Quality Assurance manual testing
-
1 year SQL queries or relational databases
-
Strong UAT and Functional test experience
-
Knowledge of Integration and Data testing
-
Knowledge of API testing using python
-
Passionate about product quality and delivering high value products

High attention to detail and solid communication skills
-
A strong desire to contribute to the release and success of leading-edge software product
