Lead the development of a Maritime Tracking and Analytics System while guiding a team of developers. Responsibilities include design, product lifecycle management, and collaboration with teams for robust software solutions.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to drive the development of an advanced Maritime Tracking and Analytics System. This position requires strong proficiency in full-stack web development, geospatial data processing, containerization (Docker & Kubernetes), and end-to-end product development. Cloud certifications will be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a robust maritime tracking and analytics solution in alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
- Guide and mentor a team of developers, providing technical expertise and leadership.
- Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI, engineering, and business units, to enhance product development.
- Draft comprehensive technical documentation and specifications.
- Choose suitable technology stacks and architectural patterns for system design.
- Oversee the rollout of new features, performance enhancements, and quality assurance practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong expertise in geospatial data processing and management.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of product development methodologies.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) are an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in maritime or geospatial software development.
- Experience with cloud-based image processing pipelines and large-scale data workflows.
