WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

• The Senior Staff Accountant – General Ledger will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of
• Saviynt’s financial records. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger, ensuring
• compliance with GAAP, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and assisting in financial reporting.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a SaaS environment and demonstrate
• excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Key Responsibilities
• General Ledger Management:
• o Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• o Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and expense allocations.
• o Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Month-End and Year-End Close:
• o Assist in the preparation and execution of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• o Ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions.
• o Analyze financial data and variances to provide insights into company performance.
• Financial Reporting:
• o Support the preparation of internal and external financial statements.
• o Provide accurate schedules and reports to assist in audits and tax preparation.
• o Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with controls.
• Process Improvement:
• o Identify and implement improvements in processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• o Work with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows.
• Compliance and Audit Support:
• o Assist in external audits, including preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• o Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•  CPA designation or working toward CPA preferred.
•  Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
•  SaaS industry experience strongly preferred.
•  Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (NetSuite experience required).
•  Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance.
•  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
•  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
