Job Description
Requirements:
- Expert with Agile testing, test planning, design, strategy, execution; automation tools (Cypress, Playwright); scripting languages (JavaScript/TypeScript); API testing (GraphQL); accessibility testing (JAWS).
- Lead QA teams, focusing on testing management, risk assessment, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to align on business and technical requirements.
- Ensure product features meet customer expectations.
- Actively participate in testing and mentor team members.
- Track and enhance QA processes and quality metrics.
- B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Agile Quality Assurance and Testing.
- 5+ years in a leadership role for QA teams.
- Proficient in both automation and manual testing.
- Experience with coding and scripting.
- Leadership, cross-functional communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, attention to detail, adaptability to new technologies.
- Expertise in Playwright, Cypress, JIRA, Confluence, Browser Developer Tools, and intermediate knowledge of JAWS.
- Work Schedule: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with product manager and developer to understand product requirement and design.
- Document detailed functional and integration test cases. Coordinate with the developer, product manager and other business stakeholders on test case review, identify missing and complex test case scenarios.
- Test execution, Publish test report and coordinate with product & program stakeholders.
- Analyze server logs, DB and provide other relevant details with a bug.
- Track Quality metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Design and Develop test automation framework
- Develop mock/stub to test the functionality of a component in isolation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
