We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Data Protection team to contribute as development engineer. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Engineering. You'll be responsible for:
- Developing and owning components of a large-scale distributed system with a keen sense for and scalability
- Troubleshooting issues with a hawkish skills
- Working with Operations and Support (when needed) to help keep a healthy cloud and happy customer and at the end of the day
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 6 to 9 years experience in Software Development
- Proficiency in programming languages – C/C++
- Experience in Algorithms and Data Structures
- Experience with fundamental networking concepts, including TCP/IP, HTTP(S)
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix and good understanding of distributed systems
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience developing large, maintainable software product architectures
- Very good debugging and troubleshooting skills
- BS/MS degree in computer science or related field
