Senior System Software Engineer (L4 Support)
This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:
In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:

Own resolution of customer problems by responding to Customer escalations in a timely manner, identify root cause, work with engineering to reproduce problem and help set priorities for engineering development.

Review customer support documents to ensure proper messaging to customer.

Review and evaluates design proposals for customer defects to ensure design will solve the documented customer problem.

Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects,
programs, and activities.

Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Troubleshoot and Debug system software programs for the storage system.
What you need to bring:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

Relevant 6-10 years of hands-on experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
-
Knowledge of working with C++ in a Linux environment.

Knowledge of working Storage subsystems
-
Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Experience in the overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
