This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

In the HPE Hybrid Cloud, we lead the innovation agenda and technology roadmap for all of HPE. This includes managing the design, development, and product portfolio of our next-generation cloud platform, Green Lake. Working with customers, we help them reimagine their information technology needs to deliver a simple, consumable solution that helps them drive their business results. What you’ll do:

  • Own resolution of customer problems by responding to Customer escalations in a timely manner, identify root cause, work with engineering to reproduce problem and help set priorities for engineering development.

  • Review customer support documents to ensure proper messaging to customer.

  • Review and evaluates design proposals for customer defects to ensure design will solve the documented customer problem.

  • Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects,

    programs, and activities.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

  • Troubleshoot and Debug system software programs for the storage system.

What you need to bring:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
    • Relevant 6-10 years of hands-on experience.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of working with C++ in a Linux environment.

    • Knowledge of working Storage subsystems

    • Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience in the overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
