Senior T-SQL Developer

Job Overview

Join global organization with 82000+ employees around the world, as a Senior T-SQL Developer based in IQVIA Bangalore. You will be part of IQVIA’s world class technology team and will be involved in design, development, enhanced software programs or cloud applications or proprietary products.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain SQL databases and objects.

· Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases, optimize in-application SQL statements.

· Handle common database procedures like create and modify Stored procedures, function, complex queries, dynamic SQL .

· Create and maintain SQL agent jobs. Monitoring ETL process and taking appropriate action if required.

· Research and implement advanced concepts in the processes.

· Prepare documentations and specifications.

· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

· 4-6 years working with MS SQL Server, T-SQL

· Exposure to data warehouse models and design

· Knowledge and experience of data ingestion, ETL processes and tools

· Fluent in T-SQL

· Knowledge on SSIS ad SSRS

· Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements.

· Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases

· Capable of troubleshooting common database issues and performance tuning

· The ability to concurrently work multiple competing projects the ad-hoc requests.

· Excellent communication skills must have an advanced English level, oral and written.

· Good to have Python knowledge.
