About the department
You will be joining our Finance Global Business Services (GBS) team in Bangalore. Established in 2007, Finance GBS is responsible for supporting various finance functions for Novo Nordisk globally. Commercial Analytics, which is part of Finance GBS, was founded in 2013 with the goal of providing best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The Position
As a Team Leader at Novo Nordisk, you will have the opportunity to:
Functional understanding and execution, team management and development program management, stakeholder management, strategic tasks, Finance GBS initiative and responsibilities. Secondary research on respective therapy area to understand the disease landscape, understand the healthcare environment across different geographies. Analyse the HTA assessments from key payers, understand their recommendations and reasons for approval or rejection and capture relevant insights.

  • Evaluate individual and team performance against objectives and identify areas for improvement to promote growth and ensure the team is meeting its targets. Operations mgmt. for the team and making sure that there is strong contingency plan in place for business continuity.
  • Hiring future talents based on expectations with business partners in IOSO. Talent attraction, hiring, leadership and development. Developing strong pipeline for sustainability of the COE.
  • Driving key assessment projects to spot opportunities to expand internal team as per business needs. Collaborate efficiently with IOSO Stakeholders, Global stakeholder, and affiliates to look at feedback, development opportunities.
  • Discuss and align with IOSO stakeholder to define future roadmap of market access initiatives. To define the long-term vision of the team and drive progress towards creating impact to business.

Liaise with market access stakeholders, clinical/medical, regulatory, and other cross functional teams to get project related relevant information. Assist in development, maintenance of guidance and training material. Train, mentor and develop new joiners or junior colleagues within Market access team. ensuring that team members meet their targets. Should provide feedback, training, coaching, motivation, and disciplinary action when necessary. Responsible for planning team's activities, resource allocation and monitoring progress to meet aligned goals. Should set clear expectations for the team, communicate these expectations to team members, and provide regular feedback to improve performance.
Qualification
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree from a recognized university in Pharma, Biotechnology, Public Health, or Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the analytical domain with market access and commercial projects.
  • Knowledge of pharma market access and drug commercialization is a must.
  • PMP or similar project management training/work exposure.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience with project management and managing key stakeholders.
  • Strong program/project management skills with a proven track record in supporting operational excellence and process efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
