Baker Hughes (BH) operates a highly integrated Treasury ecosystem to support critical Treasury processes. The Treasury applications are SaaS based, predominantly provided by FIS. This is an individual contributor role, supporting the treasury systems lead in configurations, enhancements and upgrades of key applications of the Treasury suite.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will provide operational oversight, technical leadership and consultation within the Treasury team on design, configuration, deployment, migration, execution and integration of treasury systems. They will drive operational integrity, predictability and technical success among multi-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization. The Product Manager will own the soundness of configuration and data in the treasury systems, fully supporting both run and build activities. This individual will become an expert in how the products works and how they can be optimized for BH.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Configuring and designing treasury systems to support business requirements and work with the functional and technical stakeholders to test and implement them
  • Understanding and maintaining the products, being accountable for the product by knowing how it works
  • Providing leadership and design on the tracking of pending changes – both internal and vendor provided
  • Working with application support teams to drive issues to resolution, document root cause and ensure product is running optimally
  • Working with application vendor teams to ensure product process and config changes are designed and applied appropriately
  • Assessing designs and identifying gaps, risks and concerns, as well as ensure complete planning
  • Identifying and reporting any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Reviewing deployments with release primes and 3rd party vendor in timely manner, enabling product to deploy on current vendor releases
  • Facilitating and coordinate working sessions as necessary to further refine product requirements and features
  • Reviewing and testing product deliverables to confirm the business requirements have been addressed
  • Presenting and training internal customers on new configs/features/releases for the systems
  • Presenting opportunities for strategic and tactical product improvements to the product management team
  • Monitoring performance and analyze setup of products, looking for opportunities to simplify and finetune them
  • Being accountable to DT horizontal functions for adherence to internal processes, such as PMO, ITIL, security and compliance
  • Being accountable for communications to functional partners for key events like outages (planned or unplanned), upgrades etc. with deep awareness of the impact

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelors or equivalent experience; preferred degrees: computer and information sciences, finance, accounting, mathematics
  • Have understanding of multi-tier applications (Web, application, batch, messaging, REST, webservices) and how they operate
  • Have strong problem solving, and analytical skills demonstrated the ability to assimilate new information and understand complex topics
  • Have Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, deployment management
  • Have Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations
  • Have Knowledge of the bank account management system (i.e. FIS eBAM) is a plus
  • Have Demonstrated ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment
  • Have Strong ability to communicate results in forms that resonate with the business collaborators, highlighting actionable insights
  • Have familiarity with agile/iterative project methodology such as Scrum
  • Be Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Be Demonstrated clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
