About the team:
As a UI/UX Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing secure, scalable, and intuitive user experiences for core Citrix offerings. Your work will help distinguish Citrix from its competitors by enhancing usability, accessibility, and overall security posture.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse client platforms while contributing to a wide range of Citrix products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineers, security experts, and product designers, to deliver user-friendly and performance-optimized solutions.
Role Responsibilities

Design and develop cloud-hosted, API-driven UI/UX solutions for Citrix products.

Implement responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces across multiple platforms.

Work closely with security and cloud engineering teams to integrate security best practices into UI/UX design.

Optimize user workflows, usability, and design consistency across Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, and SaaS applications.

Collaborate with product teams to conduct usability testing, user research, and A/B testing to improve user experience.

Implement and maintain design systems, reusable UI components, and front-end frameworks.

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) to deploy and optimize UI in cloud-native environments.

Ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG, ARIA) and security guidelines in UI development.

Use CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA) to streamline deployment and testing processes.
Qualifications & Experience:

B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design and front-end development for cloud-hosted web applications.

Expertise in JavaScript (JS), TypeScript (TS), React.js, and modern UI frameworks (e.g., Next.js, Angular, Vue.js).

Strong experience in designing and developing responsive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on accessibility and performance.

Experience in SaaS-based product development with a focus on UI/UX best practices.

Deep understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, usability heuristics, and interface guidelines.

Strong proficiency in design tools (Figma or Sketch) and prototyping tools.

Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI patterns.

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.

Experience in RESTful API integration, GraphQL, and working with backend teams to optimize UI performance.

Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, JIRA).

Experience with performance optimization techniques, responsive design, and cross-platform compatibility.
