The Opportunity

Are you interested in taking your career to the next level and joining a global design community working with some of the best talent? Adobe Design is looking for a talented Designer to join the Document Cloud design team and help us build the next generation of editing experience. 

Are you enthusiastic about revolutionising the way users build, edit, manipulate, sign, and share documents using AI/ML technologies? Adobe Design, our nearly 300-person product design group, is looking for an Experience Designer to join our Document Cloud design team 

What you'll Do

• Work with a multidisciplinary team to conceptualize and craft solutions to bring AI/ML powered experiences that delight and inspire users.
• Keep up with the constantly evolving field of design for AI/ML, consistently bringing new ideas to the team.
• Uncover opportunities to decrease friction and enable new pathways by talking to and listening to customers about their frustrations and goals.
• Imagine user experiences from concept to ship, experiment and iterate to validate your ideas, and coordinate with designers to produce high quality solutions with a keen eye for detail. Test your prototypes, capture insights, and integrate your findings into new versions of design experiments.
• Translate complex problems into sophisticated design recommendations that are grounded in user research and data. Bring the vision to life through sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, wireframes, prototypes, or animations.
• Apply interactive techniques to help our users try paid features and value in meaningful ways, help them find the right plan, and continue to encourage value in their subscription over time.
• Advocate for innovative product approaches, and collaborate with the Monetization and Engagement squads to lead brainstorms and workshops. Stay current with industry leading perspectives and bring them into your design approach.
• Convey design ideas and end-to-end user experience via sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations.
• Create user experience goals, priorities, and deliverables that align with product milestones, coordinate multiple projects to completion, and drive adoption of user experience practices.
• Uncover opportunities to decrease friction and enable new pathways by talking to and listening to customers about their frustrations and goals.
• Proactively engage with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers in drafting & brainstorming initial concepts.

What you need to succeed

• A minimum of 6 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of great designs and strategy that meets user needs, product requirements & business objectives.
• B.Des/M.Des degree in HCI or design related field, with an emphasis on user experience, interaction design, or visual design.
• Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and translate them to practical design solutions
• In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills, capable of working independently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working iteratively with engineering teams to bring the design vision to life.
• Excellent design craftsmanship combined with strong business intuition.

Nice to Have:

• Proven experience designing of working within a growth focused design team,  with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in mobile design.
• Familiarity with prototyping and motion design tools a plus.
